Some maniac ported ECCP to Be..it can be had at:

http://users.aber.ac.uk/mmb9/bin/eccp109/eccp109-x86_BeOS_CL-130-3.tar.gz

It boots but that's as far as I've gotten with it...

Is Free-DC going to continue with ECCP? Not much action there lately...

I dunno, but got there about 3.6GHz just to be sure...unfortunately I can upload results only once a week (round trip across our town, collecting dp's :D )

I'll join Freee-DC as soon as I get some DP's returned.

I'm getting 590K iterations for each instance on my dual Duron 1Ghz, S2460 board. How does that sound efficiency wise? I don't think the Be porter used the AMD optimzed client source.

Question for the .ini file -

For Perm_Conn, do I put a 1 if I have a cable connection?

Yes, perm con 1 if you have cable.
590K on one CPU is quite efficient I think - if you've got dually, you should run two instances of program (in different directories, of course...)

Can't run it on the dual machine (BeBox) as ECCP hoses up the operating system somehow..I think the BeOS port is just a bit unstable :(

I'm getting approx 860K on the 1.4TBird..I need to try the AMD optimzed code and see if that helps.

See ya in the stats :)
