The stats on the web site seem to be FUBAR. The teams are showing that 0 DPs have been completed. The listing of top teams show duplicates of all the teams and when you try to click on one it says the team doesn't exist.

Sorry about that, I was in the process of adding new data to the CSV and XML files. It broke my reg-ex's.

JL, what is the new field you've added to the end of the user.csv ?

Thanks

THe number of DPs in the last 24hrs. If you looked at the XML it would tell you. :)

Humm... can you give me a URL? Was it in user stats? Think that's fixed now.

Because I don't want to start a new thread...

If I click on either graph on http://www.md5crk.com/stats/ using IE, I get a javascript error on Line 7 due to an invalid parameter.

Silly IE people. :spank:

Fixed. Turns out IE doesn't like having a "." in the NAME field of window.open(). sigh.

Another thing I noticed...

The "MD5 Transform Count" graph isn't going to be very informative, since eventually the graph will look like a horizontal line at the top... Maybe make the bottom of the y-axis begin from some value instead of zero?

I hear you. I'm actually thinking of removing it entirly. And putting a text value "1 mill-e-on bill-e-on md5s"

Recently got aware of a couple of issues:

1) The Top Cores stats page doesn't work (at least with Firefox, Opera and IE6). Instead of the table, there's "{TRANS_COREINFO}".

2) Off-by-1 errors in the user/team/websites stats table "offset selector" (like [ 100..200 | 300..399 ] with a current offset of 200, thus showing places 201-200). In this case, it should be [ 101..200 | 301..400 ].

3) When using "My Stats", there is no text ("It is important to note [...]") right of the diagram. (btw. "become" is only one word :D)

4) I'm not sure if this is a bug, but it at least looks strange:

When looking at this (http://www.md5crk.com/stats/topusers.php?off=200) stats page, there currently are 2 entries that IMHO do not fit.

227 ^11 EvilRick 49 2,104 9,036 400

231 ^11 Mystwalker 29 2,001 8,594 200

I don't know how the rank change column is calculated, but if it is for the last 24 hours, then I wonder why EvilRick only climbed 11 places, as he had to be below me 24 hours ago and now, he is 4 places better...

If the rank change is calculated on a different basis (e.g. every 6 hours, every stats update, ...), it totally makes sense, of course...

1) done
2) done
3) done and done
4) humm... I was making changes yesterday or the day before to this data (there was a mid-day update) Remind me if you see it again.

Thanks for the bugs notices. I'll keep fixing them.

That's what I call prompt reaction. :)

There's still one off-by-1 error left:
The higher bound of the "next range" should be 1 bigger:

[ 1..100 | 201..299 ] --> [ 1..100 | 201..300 ]

Apart from that, all is working now. Thanks!

Ahh. Missed that one. fixed.

Got two other things on the stats page I currently cannot explain:

1)
The "Probability of Completion At Current Rate" ATM shows:

24 Hrs 1 : 1,720,529
30 Days 1 : 834,684
365 Days 1 : 43,332

Shouldn't the likeliness of 30 Days at least (resp. even better) be 30:1,720,529 (= 30* '24Hrs')? I mean, I have this chance (more or less) every day...

2)
Concerning the lifetime of my Active Start Points, I have

41 Days
Apr 21st 2004 14:34:04

and

43 Days
Apr 21st 2004 17:21:39

Now, why is the days count different when the actual start time only differs by less than 3 hours? Is it connected with the first submission of a workunit?

P.S.:
I have registered some more Start Points. Are they omitted because I haven't send in any workunits for them (hence the Active)?

1) Because the probability of collision is not a linear relation. It's P(n) = 1.17741 x n1/2

2) Look closer, the differ by 3 hrs and a day. ;)
