the exe and msi installers failed, msi scripting error
I extracted the zip and tried to run the md5crk exe this gave me a missing import in a dll library
Running Win98, 512Mb Ram, XP2200+:help:

I have a new client in the works now for Win95/98/ME users. Have you tried installing the client NOT as a service since Win98 cannot have services?

Let me know how it goes.

Got the latest Version 1.0.6
MSI error is as follows:
md5crk_1.0.6_win32.msi - There is a problem with the Windows Installer Package. A script Required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact you support personal or package vendor.

Exe error is Identical.

Zip unpacks but then the md5crk client gives me this error.
Error starting program: The MD5CRK.EXE file is linked to missing export ADVAPI32.DLL:ChangeService2A
Secondry error: C:\free-dc\md5crk_106\md5crk.exe.
A device attached to the system is not function.

Sorry Took so long been a bit busy with life ;)

Had the same thing with 98. I think that the piece of junk I
want to run MD5CRK on will only be capable of 1 MegaMD5/sec
but I'd like to all the same.
