Running Lifemapper

Well I was helping out with the EON front, but things got pretty bad so reregistered under Lifemapper. I figured we needed a Hydra cluster on Lifemapper, so while things get worked out on EON I'll be helping some with Lifemapper. Oddly enough I've done the same two species over and over. What's up with that? I don't want to do the same thing over and over :rolleyes:

I've done:

Veronica x 2
Viola x 5


Not to mention I'm currently crunching those same things again.

I'm seeing the same thing: Viola and nothing but Viola. There is as yet no mention of this problem on the LifeMapper Support Board.

I'm shutting down LM for the time being.

Further research on the Support Board indicates that someone else has been getting a lot of Viola lately. The stock answer from the admins is that they want each model to be computed several times. Getting the same species twice is not unusual, but for all of us to get the same species over and over is not normal. It'll probably be half a day or so before the LM admin realizes something's wrong and gives an unconvincing excuse. Thing's will probably be back to normal tomorrow.
