Client packages with new features available
Packages with new features are available on the download page on the main website.
Features include argument to specify number of ticket receipt checks, more robust behaviour when running with -ut, and some small bug fixes. For complete details, check whatsnew.txt in the new packages.

According to Howard, it's "trouble with the network" at the hospital, which is then blamed on script kiddies (which really wouldn't surprise me, actually).

Or...time to unbuckle and let things get back to normal before continuing. This little gem from the new pkg .txt
- Fixed small bug that was not properly deleting last generation files during upload. exposes a possible prob in the existing client. I don't want to risk upload probs on Monday after stockpiling a weekend worth of gens -- and too risky to be early adopter of a new client unless its a mandate.

the new client is very nice for dumping a load of gens - instead of using one the myriad upload scripts, the new client does it all for you...using the new client on 50% of my PCs with no ill-effect...

I just tried to upload using the 'old' client. It got to #2 and then flashed and quit. I reran it 3 times and it did no more of them. There is no report in the error.log of what it did/didnt do nor why. I see that it created file "receipt.txt" so I guess I should just try some other day? server must be busy.

it is - but I'm finding using the -u t option with the new client is taking a lot of hassle out of baby-sitting DF ....

If I update to the new client, will I loose the generations I currently have buffered?

nope - just overwrite the foldtrajlite.exe with the new one (or extract the whole lot - just as long as filelist.txt and all the appropiate files are still in place)...

just set another 2 clients off with the new client as I had the last gen checksum bug which the new client fixes...

Hey, Moogs. I just did the update thing. Replaced all the files, it's just as easy, for me. Everything running fine. Backlog dwindling s l o w l y... :sleepy:

Well, it's odd...got home tonight and it looks like (well, on this box) stuff got uploaded.
