I have a AMD XP 2,2+, MD5CRK is using X86MMXALU2 optimization.
2 questions: what is ALU2? and the AMD XP have SSE(1) why it don't use it? is better ALU2?...
i'm very new at this.
thanks

Alex

ALU2 means "Dual ALU"

We tried to write a SSE(1) core but the lack of a 32bit SIMD add operation makes the SSE(1) instruction set very poor for MD5.

Does this help?

Thanks :) i was thinking that SSE was better than ALU2.
I have a 6 MegaMD5/sec right now...

off-topic: it would be good to have any graph or live stats (optinal) in the program to see how the soft goes, what is doing right now...like seti that shows, graphics...

thanks
