Faster ECCP clients

Wuz poking around the ECCP Tips and Tricks pages yesterday and came across the link - http://www.msu.edu/user/bercikda/eccp.html for the optimzed Linux client.

Downloaded and ran it. Gave me a 120K p/s increase on my SuSE boxes. My 1.4TBird is at 960K now which ain't bad.

Made it for BeOS and it's runs 100K p/s faster.

Interesting thing about my Durons...the 850@950 PC133 Duron performs just slightly less than my 1Ghz Morgan's with DDR PC2100. I've seen this in S@H, OGR and now ECCP. I guess the clients aren't taking advantage of whatever was included in Morgans.

IB, I should have said I was at the Free-DC.org ECCP Tips & Tricks page...yeah...I got it from there. I always give appropriate credit for my sources :)

Would it be possible to put a new link for Optimized/Enhanced Clients (or something like that) and break them out of from the Tips & Tricks page? I don't see enhanced clients being a tip...maybe a trick...but definately I think could use their own link...something that people see when they go to the ECCP without digging for it. The bang for the buck is too great not to make it highly visible.

No chance anytime soon, pals...I've got to do leaving exams next month and thus I got no time to spare...maybe after this, but now, it's just plain impossible.
