*Wonders if the cows are ever going to try and pass*

so who knows exactly how they stand.

Good to know we have it covered. :D

No offence, but we cows are a litte bit http://gathering.tweakers.net/global/smileys/nosmile.gif from all those 'user movements' . You're right...this way we will not pass you and to be honest...the fun is slighly decreasing every time someone is teamhopping http://gathering.tweakers.net/global/smileys/sadley.gif

But it will not affect our DF crunching though :)

You should be flattered. We are just taking a page from your book.

You DPCer's have told us on several occasions what a fine thing it is to have a vast team of crunchers, while pointing out that Free-DC was possibly only half-vast. So we are learning from you!

Thanks for the tip and... Crunch on! :p

Nice, but it doesn't seem to be working. In spite of all this (beefsteak, scott, gauntletts) we still produce more than you.

When I look at the stats, we produced 29 million more point then you guys during CASP target #1. In other words; 29 million more a week, wich means eventually we will catch up . . .

What's that I smell? Is it fear? I think it is! Those cows are quivering in awe at the massive power of my P1s.

One of my boxes won't run DF. It runs for a few hours, then stops. I have no idea why it's doing that. Box is a 2500@2200MHz, and runs every other project I run just fine.

that overheats one of my boxen. TSC D2OL and Lifemapper have been fine on it but DF makes it run too hot.

Maybe it's just overheated?

Scott

You will need to turn the clockspeed down.

The DF client uses a lot more optimisations than D2OL.
I have a lot of Athlon machines and have seen this many times.

My boxes run folding gromacs WU just fine, so I'm not worrying about it. That box just stays on folding.
Now, if I can just stay awake long enough to get some machines switched over...

Arrg, current boxes are stuffed up! It's going to be a huge dump, that's for sure.

Got a few more machines tonight.
Hopefully tomorrow I'll get the rest of them.

No dumps. I've got a big farm, it takes a while to switch them all, especially in the middle of upgrading it.
You'll cower before the farm, just you wait.

What about "cow tipping?"

Scotttheking

Ahh, finally.

I think that'll be enough. I've got maybe another 8Ghz I could add, but it's too much effort for those systems. I've got 25+ghz going on DF. :)

That's all folks!

I need to switch the secondary farm back to folding before I don't have time / forget to. Can't leave it on DF, that's not a project that can run unattended for a long period of time.
