Wouldn't take much more to make a push towards #1. Anyone else want to join in to push Free-DC to the top?

Is it still running well ?

It crapped out for quite a while and the stats are pretty much broken too, so I stopped running it at that point. I could put it back on my windows boxen though.

The stats seem to be inconsistent but the server still sends out units to crunch.

I'm bringing up another machine onto chessbrain and when I'm attempting to register it it says unable to retrieve account information. I double checked my email address listed and it was correct. Anyone have a suggestion as to how I get this new computer to log in under my account?

I got out of this thing a while back but I don't mind putting in another few boxes on this one.

Count me in for 3 boxes ;)

Where did everyone go? Not many crunching anymore.

I have been trying to sign up for this project for about a month and just get an error every attempt to create an account.

Maybe that's why!!! :bang:

Chessbrain hasn't been that efficient I had some problems a couple months back getting computers registered to my account. Hope it gets fixed soon.

Yeah, CJ over at chessbrain had some RL issues a few months back and I really haven't heard anything from him since, so I'm not sure how everything turned out. I hope everything is ok, I'll keep trying to get ahold of him and see how things are going for chessbrain.

I've had a client running for a couple of weeks now (accidently!), and it seems to be getting work at a regular pace.

I have no idea if stats are being updated though....

Stats are updated every hour.
Don't forget that it is possible to run several instances of chessbrain in one machine.

Your output seems to have climbed willy1. Seems like all your work is being updated in the CB stats. Team seems to have upped its overall production as well. WTG everyone....

Yeah - it'll do that if ya start up a whole bunch of clients. I think there's 20 or so going right now...

I've got all my machines running CB now. Climb aboard and maybe we can make up some of the gap to #1.

20 machines? Looking in my rearview mirror. Getting my whip out telling my machines, "Mush!!!"

Still won't allow new account creation. This is the error I get when I try:

Error #9001 Session is invalid. Please login again.

Seeing how we're on the same team, I'll be generous and let you add those nodes to my stats. :D :p

All kidding aside, that really sucks because any and every cruncher available would really help our production. :bang:

Sorry guys looks like I had a bit of a network crash. Otherwise, I think we'd be pretty #1 in daily production.

Good work everyone!!!!

We're oh so close to taking #1 in daily production. Just a handful more of crunchers and we'd have it.

:Pokes: my farm to go as fast as it can go.

If I remember when I get home I'll start up some instances on a few windows boxen.

Bok-

Is there a way to get the Chessbrain stats working in the sigs?

The stats themselves just don't seem to work well for me for some reason. I'll try to find out what is going on and fix them, then the sigs will work better.

I will dedicate, only for two days, these computers:

1100Mhz - running 8 instances
AMD 64 3200+ - running 20 instances

2200+ - running TSC

Bok,

That was quick work on the CB stats. As always, your work on stats is greatly appreciated.

The stats might be fixed, I think it's just a timing issue so I've amended the cronjob.

willy1, I added CB to your stats.

custom colors and such. If you want a different background color / text color just give me the hex codes or rgb values..

Any other features required ???

Just to say I stopped chessbrain.
I have an ADSL dial-up connection with both computers in LAN but everytime one need a restart I get at taskmanager "chessbrain not responding". I'm not always at home to fix the problem.
It's the first time I'm using, at LAN, clients who need permanent access to internet so I need more time to understand what am I doing wrong. Until then I'm crunching for TSC.

Cheers,

Carlos

I'm using this software (http://www.adslkeepalive.co.uk/) to keep permanent on my internet connection but there's a conflict with it and the dial-up from XP. The problem is somewhere in that program so I need more time to make a few tests.

Thanks for understanding my position,

Carlos
