Not shure if this is the right place for that question, but I'll just try:D

The otherday I installed a second graphics board in my computer.
Unfortuantly I messed the drivers up and had to boot in safe mode, delete the 2. board in the Hardeware Manager, uninstall the drivers and reboot.

After reinstalin the drivers for both vid cards and putting colors and resolution up to normal i still have quits some messed up icons on my desktop, which look like they did in safe mode...

Does anybody know a trick to get the normal icons back?

My computer is running Windows 2000 SP 4

Thanks

Thor

Delete a file called
ShellIconCache

It should be in your windows directory {winnt for 2000}
You might have to show hidden and systems files for it to be visible

Or If ya don't wanna go messing with that file, I think there is a TweakUI for 2K :D
That little programs is fun, easy to use and is pretty safe to use.
