Indeed, I'm here on the NE side, so welcome. How do you like our summer "showers", Chinasaur? ;) Last night's was pretty intense. All I can say is that I'm glad for UPS systems.

Hey :) Down SE side, off 74 Post Road exit.

Supposedly we got 2-3"...I couldn't sleep even with the curtains closed. I haven't seen seen lights like that since I was at an Ozzy Osbourne concert ;)

China,
Welcome to the Hoosier State!!! Hope you like basketball!

I'm down in Bloomington (~40 miles due south on SR37)

I was in Indy last weekend for a computer show.

www.agishows.com (link to show dates)

Maybe I'll see ya at one of the upcoming shows

I've always loved lightening...I think I moved to the right area for it. I like to keep the blinds open so I can watch the show while I go to sleep.

They get some awesome one's.

As far a Indiana is concerned...I remember the fireflies. We use to catch them in jars. :)

JT..is Wolf's (sp?) Barbeque still in business?

I really miss lightning. The last time that we had it out here was 3-4 years ago. Santa Barbara doesn't really have weather, just climate.

Yeah..that's true. California never really had seasons. Just basically winter and summer, no leaves changing...

WOW! I'm a Hoosier also! I was born in Crawfordsville, and went to two years of HS in Indianapolis.

BTW, You MUST be a basketball fan in order to live ther:)

make sure you attend the Indy 400 NASCAR race in August! They put on quite a show.

In May they hold the Indy 500. Go out on 16th St. and get drunk with one million close friends!

My Mom is from Lafeyette and Dad is from Frankfort so I'm a homie ;)

I'll probably have to watch it on TV at any rate .. the SO is a Colts fan :D

I met my wife in Indianapolis & we were married in her hometown, Seymour. Got my first job in computing there, with Burroughs Corp. Seems like Indiana has a LOT of influence around here.

ColinT, good to hear from you! Guess those rumors of your demise were premature, huh? :p

My parents were born and raised in Evansville. We always had the family reunions back there every year during the summer. Most of them still live near or around there.

Maybe the theory should be called "Out of Indiana" vs "Out of Africa"

:D

No way.... I lived in Seymour until I was about 6. We lived back toward 13th street, I think.

You got PM. :D

Rumors of my death are slightly exaggerated. I am alive and kicking. I gave up on DC. All I do it work. Boring...

Any of you Indy homies know of a really good metric (Kawasaki) service center/dealership/indep wrench that can be trusted?

TIA.
