I installed foldtrajlite as a service, but had a problem with my system. I downloaded the client again, but when I went to re-register as a service the old service is still there..
Is there a way to 'remove' a service, so I can reinstall the new download as a service?

at the command prompt :
foldtrajlite -uninstall
I believe that will work

Hmm, it didn't work. Maybe it has to be the original client for the service?

Bingo!! Sorted...
Thanks for the help.. ;)
if you don't have the original client, you'll need to do a registry search for the service name - this is the name shown in the Services applet - and will probably be under HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services.
there maybe more than 1 branch to delete - keep doing a search for the service name...
NOTE: only do this if you're happy editing the registry; also back up the registry before hand...I've done this before but only do this if you're happy to and can restore the PC if anything goes wrong...

Actually, if you're re-installing to the same directory as the original, you don't have to change anything regarding the service.
