Okay say I want to build a pharm, power would be my 1st concern I don't wanna be plugging in X PSU's :D
If i was building them I'd be thinking about an all-in-one mobo like the MSI KM4M with onboard video/network/sound
Im wondering if there is an easy way to calculate the power requirements
1 processor, 256Mb Ram (266/333/400) as required..
and also why hasn't someone built there own custom PSU?
was thinking it should be possible..
was thinking 1 Mains lead.. 3 /4 ATX + Aux outputs, power total say 800W-1000W
okay Im thinking it should be possible I know you can get Switch-mode power supply kits - not sure it they would give the correct outputs..
I'm just an ideas man... :D
think of it instead of having to build a ATX splitter and having 2 board shut down at the same time... each board can be turned off individually
im sure someone could build a nice stack pharm and power it with the minimum of sockets used... also if 1 PSU dies that's 1 board not 2 out ;)
