If you look at http://www.aooq73.dsl.pipex.com/scores_p.htm mike's page for remaining n's.

The number of n left between 1m < n < 3m is 57162 (=29148+29097)

However when you look at the second pass remaining n for ~900k < n < 3M ( http://www.seventeenorbust.com/secret ) it shows 53250.

I was just wondering where the difference is coming from ...

Also even if there were only 2000 n between 900K and 1m this would make a difference of more than 5000 n.

Alot of tests were already done by the secret testing account around 2000000 and also a couple tests were assigned out and the nabandoned and the nassigned again. If they had both finished and matching residues were found then this number would be omitted from the double check effort since its already known for sure that they aren't prime.

This makes total sence, but that means that roughtly 10% of the n values have already been double check <3m.
