I was wonder what everyone considered the best CPU to use for folding. A INTEL or AMD based system?

Through 5 weeks of trial and error, I have dound out that a 1.2 AMD T-Bird will out fold a P3 1.0 by 3 to 1.
I've also observed that any P3 under 933- 500 MHz takes anywhere from 1 day up to 1 1/2 days to fold 1 WU.

My 1.2 T-Bird is pushing out from 4 -6 WU's a day.

So, what are you using and what's your best guess at WU production for one day on your system.

The AMD systems just rock under folding.

I'm currently using the following:
14 AMD CPUs: (10 Tbird, 4 Palomino)
5 Intel CPU's: (all P3's)
all good for ~95-105 wu/day

In my case a Dual P3-866 is the equivilant wu-wise to a 1200 Tbird (6 each/day)

Agree with JTrinkle, go with AMD

That's what I was thinking and why I'm going to switch out the Intel systems with AMD systems.
