A couple of days ago I changed the serv_addr in the registry on a couple of win98 machines to the ip address of my server running SBqueue.
But I noticed they were not flushing to my SBqueue and had a look at them again today.
The logs showed me a lot of "could not resolve the hostname" errors. I checked the registry again thinking I must have made a small mistake. But no such thing, the IP address was correct. I chanched it to my dyndns.org domain name, wich worked perfectly.
So whats wrong with putting your ip address in the config of sob? I've done it on winxp/2k/linux machines without any problems.
