Hello,
We are currently requiring some processing power to do some experiments related to this (http://www.informatics.sussex.ac.uk/users/mmg20/files/garvie04.pdf) paper.
The deal is as follows. We need to set up special islands in a world of their own that will be live for at least a week at a time. If you have a powerful computer that does not go down or loose connection to the internet for week long periods then you can sign up. Effort credit will be at a 1.3 rate compared to that earned by staying on the main project. Going onto this scheme does not involve any new downloading or anything.
