They've won the X-Prize barring any unforseen circumstances (pilot has to survive for 24 hours after flight), etc.
Usual bottom-feeders came out claiming their share of glory, but that doesn't detract for the Rutan-lead achievement.
Good show on Discovery last night. Turns out Mike Melville (1st Civilian Astronaut) is a high school dropout. Also some good footage of team hanging up marshmallows and hot dogs before an engine test. So totally anti-NASA attitude (no pomposity/bureaucratic strap-hangers) that's it a delightful breath of fresh air.
Congratulations Scaled!
