Hi!

I'm just wondering what happens to chessbrain.

My clients didn't submit work for a long time. Only if I restart the clients, they establish a connection to the server, do something and then it's silent until I restart them again.

My stats aren't up to date. There is one machine missing in http://www.chessbrain.net/member/ while others are listed twice with different MAC-IDs where I don't know how they can appear (W-LAN-connection which is ALWAYS offline!).

I loved to participate to this project but now it's boring. In earlier times, when stats updated correct for me, I accepted that the executable was taking about 20 MB of memory with srvany.exe (when I ran 3 instances). But now where I can't see any progress I'll uninstall that project.

Are there more people experiencing the same things? Or is it just me?

Well then, I'll focus my little small firepower of on distributed.net, which has a reliable and stable client...

Chessbrain was a nice project, but now it appears dead to me :( sorry

I agree that CB is dead.

Looking back, all the activity was leading up to the world record attempt.
Afterwards it went very quiet.

If new users can't sign up and the project admins haven't posted for months then
one can reasonably assume that the project is dead.

Shame, I quite liked this as a secondary project.
