Now, if any of you think this is a thread about how ChessBrain is ending...you're wrong.
I was wondering (and I haven't checked the ChessBrain site to see if the answer is on there) if ChessBrain will ever end?
In all of the thoughts that go through my head, I don't know why this one did.
There are a finite amount of moves that can be made using a board and X amount of Chess pieces. I don't know exactly what the total number of possibilites are, but I do know that one day, ChessBrain should theorectically calculate every possible way to play a game of Chess. Now the number is really really big probably, but the total amount of possible moves in a game of Chess can't go on forever.
Does anyone agree with me on this one? Will ChessBrain ever reach a definite end and if yes, then when do you think it would be? Will ChessBrain even have the funding to go on that long?
I love making my mind go BUMP at 5:00AM...
(and it helps my TKC stats)
Lemme hear it!
