Na , in don't really have more firepower than you do...
of the 12 nodes registered are

8 (instances) on the Xeon box a fried borged for me and which is luckiliy not in production yet.

1 is a friends computer who doesn't turn D2OL on anymore

1 is my brothers PIV 2.6 which i borged while he was on holidays and had to give it back since he doesn't like DC (that box gave me 100 cands a day, :swear: )

1 is my 800 mhz Athlon home server wich isn't running in the moment for serveral reasons

and last but not least
1 XP 2400 which is my work/game box....

you see I' am very dependent on help;)

anybody in to throw a box on my account to kick that furry thing out of the way? :D

I have a question:

The Xeon machine which brought me to Warp speed died probably because of JAVA issues...

Since the guy who borged it for me doesn't have much time (didn't even have the time to go to the basement today to redo it:bang: )

How can you start D2OL on a Suse Linux machine without all the java crap?
it is installed with java, but I think I remember somebody said java is just needed for the gui.

So if anybody knows, please post the whole process in a way a linux admin can understand it. (I don't have to ;-) )
I will then foreward it to him and hopefully soon pass the gopher again :-)

it's fairly simple.

1. go into the SengentD2OL/D2OL/res directory and edit general.prp and set LaunchMain=false

2. startup the client with ./D2OL controller:cli

I finally know what happened to that machine...

It didn't go down because of java reasons....

It is even worse...

One of the two processor boards where two of the cpus are located went up in smoke and so the whole thing died...

Well, hello IBM aren't your machines prepared for 24/7 100% cpu load?;)

now it is up again with two cpus...

and I'll loose it completly in one or two weeks...

Now it is up and running again at full power!
