Hey guys. I'm looking around for parts for my g/f's new computer. I want to build a dual-chip system. I have a Sempron 2500+ already (the Athlon renamed). I want to get another one. Can anyone point me in the direction of a Dual AMD Mobo that's Sempron-compliant? I'd prefer nForce over VIA chipset. No AOpen brand, preferrably just ASUS but not limited to that.

Thanks!

CaptainMooseInc, I doubt that there are any Sempron compatible duallie out there.

However, with a bit of more cash, you can build yourself a nice dual MP2800+ or something lower, entirely up to you.

I personally have two Tyan Tiger MPX (http://www.tyan.com/products/html/tigermpx.html) running MP 2800+.

The mobo is around $180 - $220 depending on the manufacturer and merchant. Just head over to www.pricewatch.com to check it out.

I don't wanna give her THAT good of a computer. I'd be jealous.............

Maybe I'll just build hers and work on funding a Dual Opteron 242 or better ;)
