well i'm back from a 2 month break as most of you noticed...running the folding on one of our newly rebuilt clusters (redhat 7.2).

basically running 100 nodes which each have dual 1GHz processors, and 2.4GB of memory...

how long before i'm back in 1st place?

:spank:

 glad I'm not paying the electric bill for that lot !

Made my laugh though because I've just installed Redhat 7.2 for the first time tonight and I'm going through a very, very steep learning curve :bang: - never used *nix before :D but have managed to get DF running on it so that's enough for tonight :)

yes, we have 3 101 node clusters with the same configuration.. I tried to run DF on some of our 2nd toronto cluster, but it seg faults and i don't really have time to look into it.

nothing wrong with red hat

its just that a lot of linux zealots are rebellious and anti-establishment, so if a distro is the leader, they go for the under-dog, regardless of the merits of either
