Slower Computers

I noticed when installing the client that it benchmarks your system briefly. Is this so you don't get work units that are too large if you are using a slow system?

I have quite a few 700 MHz machines and am wondering if they would lose their work every time they are rebooted? I estimate it would take them 8 days for a single large WU.

you will want to configure the client so it only accepts work units with no time deadline.

these should be tinker cores. tinkers may get you more points anyway. i was getting a lot of tinker units and my daily rate was over 200 points. last couple weeks i have been getting mostly gromac cores and point rate has dropped to half.
