Resistance will be futile. We are the Borg of Free-DC. :smoking:

I nominate IronBits as our Team Captain.

Calling all Borg minds.

We need to join into the Collective and start pushing out more shrubs. We are losing to those darn pesky Species 8472.

8472 has the advantage over the borg Borg can only increase there numbers by assimilating others that they concour While Species 8472 are like rabits and muiltyply even faster:slap:

It appears Fozzie may have been assimilated!! Or was that 'load balancing'?

After which we seem to have a close race this morning,
Borg: 1,688,592
Species: 1,668,809

about a 20K race! :|party|:

Wow... it appears that Fozzie has made the Teams very balanced.

Maybe just too well balanced. :bang:

As of 1/22 12:58 update Fozzie has departed Borg, back to Species. Apparently not happy with either team or ...

... a Traitorous Spy!

I've had a job at 99% for last 12 hours. Job began 22-Jan, approx 42 hrs ago. Cpu is busy so I'm assuming "THINK" (aka server.dat) percentages are nearly worthless. Hope it isn't stuck!

as long as the seconds are still ticking your query should be fine.

Check the status of it using FADSpy and it will tell you if all is OK and approximate reward for when it does finish.

I have had a few that went over 2 million seconds.

Im still cranking, on my meager one machine.
I would add my server as well, but the temperature sensor or software seems to be on the fritz (sensors reports 121C for the M/B temp... which i doubt), which makes me hesitant to run DC on it until i can get a look at it (it's in another state).
(what's a reasonable temperature, as reported by lmsensors or MBM that I should try to keep an Athlon (T-bird or XP) CPU at, anyway? the spec says like 95C at the die is the max, but I don't really know what the difference between the reported temp and the die temp would be, and how much safety factor is enough).

BUT, if the university ever gets me my office, and gets our lab our rack space, and if my professor ever gets around to ordering gear, I'll have a few NICE machines to, uh, "burn in" :)

ugh my computers are useless to this project. my slowest one seems to always get the longest ones. its ridiculous. I've pretty much given this up for a while and might just run F@H for a while. see how that goes. If I dont like it then ill move back to FAD with another computer to add.

That's what I get for not reading the forums for several months. Not that it would have made much difference, I'm pushing as many machines as I can as hard as I can.

Sorry guys!
