Please direct me to uninstall information for dhep.

Just delete the folder that you have DHEP installed to. I don't believe that the project makes any kind of registry changes etc.

dhep is running as a local service. I have no idea how to delete this, and get an error message when deleting from add/remove program (in windows xp)

If you've installed your client as a service then you must first uninstall it:

* If you've installed it with the windows installer go to Start->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs and remove it from there.
* If you've installed it manually go to the folder where you installed it and run UninstallIsland.bat.

...

So, you may have to reinstall DHEP as a service and then run the "uninstallIsland.bat" file. You're probably getting an error because the folder or components have been deleted as per the first message.

I didn't know that you had installed as a service.
