can't connect to server

I started SOB after a long time but it can't log on. I reinstalled V2.3.0 again but still can't blocks from server(can't connect). Somebody got any suggestions what might be wrong?
There doesn't seem to be any problem with my net.

Same here, I just registered for this project first time today, and entered "sbp.pns.net" for the host on port 22 - and I keep getting error messages saying that it cannot connect to the server.

did I miss something, or is the sever down?

Nope!!!

Switch over again to www.seventeenorbust.com instead of sb.pns.net.

P.S. Instead of sbp.pns.net you can use 69.9.160.188

yep. seems to be a widespread DNS server issue

clearing the DNS cache on my client machines and doing a DNS lookup (ref previous thread about similar problem in Jan-05) intermittently gets either no result or multiple incorrect results.

my clients are now working on 69.9.160.186
(note the last digit is 6 not 8, in my case)

but I notice that the Project Stats charts are badly affected at the moment.

Yeah, I had major problems with my DNS box. This seems to be a reoccuring issue, so I'm going to be moving hosting boxes soon and things will be much more stable at that point.

Everything should be fine now.
