As some of you know i'm a member a XPC.
I've been crunching for a little over a year now.
I'm 18th on the team with almost 10.5 million points.
But XPC has been slowly going down hill.
My wife Rea and I are sick of the spam and disrespect from some of the members.(mostly kids who shouldn't be there in the first place) IMO.

It's gotten so bad that the Mods have had to edit post and put up a post( Spam, Humor and Respect) and Sticky it.
But most of what's said is common sense. But for some reason some of the members just don't get it

We want a home that isn't so quick to bash or flame.
We got one member over there who finds the need to post in every thread and I do mean every thread. 75% of the stuff he will post is just plain stupid or off topic.
I called him on it and the Mods tapped him on the hand.
Now you may said oh that no big deal he just got carried away.
But there is alot more to it. Lying about deals he made and never sent the part, warned many times about his conduct. Just to name a few.

But anyway enough about there.
We are looking for a new place to set up shop.
One of the things we is a monthy Contest.
Lotto type.
This prizes were as follows.

Only a Active Cruncher of the XPC Team for the past 30 days can win the comupter.
This means that you must have active history before 2-1-2005
We don't want someone coming along and winning and taking it back to another team.

I came here from US-Distributed. US-D went from a great team to a Nazi-style Death Camp. Ever since then this place has been my DCing Home.

I think you should find Free-DC a suitable home.

I used to get flamed and called stupid for asking building questions when I was first starting out building computers on US-D. When I came to Free-DC all my questions were answered and the enthusiasm on the boards REALLY makes me excited to go around and help on other Free-DC projects when they are in need of help.

Fire up your processors and let's see what you've got to offer!

What's your project of choice? Maybe I missed something, maybe you were hinting at Find-A-Drug?

PY 22 is our big hitter on FaD and LAURENU2 finally found a home at Free-DC after not being on any team (I think) which is an honor to us I believe.

Free-DC doesn't require anyone to crunch for any certain team. If you want to just be a board poster, you're a part of the Free-DC team. If you crunch for one of our teams in one project, but crunch for an opposing team in another, that's fine!

That's the BEST thing about Free-DC. No requirements, no assimilation...unless you participate in a gauntlet....then Foztradomous will assimilate you (see the recent gauntlet posts on the FaD board).

Keep us updated on your transition and ask away if you have any questions!

Dude, Welcome to the team, personally I came from an Arse Tech Team, faceless wonders that they were, the basic premise of this "TEAM" is that you crunch what you want, when you wanna crunch it. Someone there will be a Shout out request for help on a project or gauntlet to liven things up, those are fun.. but you want advice on anything like da man said just ask..

I was looking for new bumps in the stats and it looks like you're still crunching away at the same rate for XPC. :confused:

Yes I thought I did.
But it didn't take.
I uploaded 63,000+ points over at XPC....:bang:
I changed the team numbers on each system to 2020 but it didn't work.
I've never changed teams before.
What did I do wrong?

Did you changeover the most recent box you added? I believe I read that the last box holds your most recent ID number, and will nullify changes made to other boxes.

Hmmm no I didn't.
The last install was 2 days ago on a coworkers build I did for him.
He knows it on there but I hid it in the start menu so he wouldn't mess it up.

I was at XPC And I ran into the same problems Roadtech did.
I left XPC for Team None just to get away or out of XPC.
As far as I can see the Mods if there any do have a vary easy job here.
I do not see the taunting fighting and bickering that I see on other Team forums.

I think Roadtech will find this true as well
