to buy say a dual Xeon CPUs and mobo combo in the US and ship it to the UK rather than buying it here?

I think it erally depends whether you can find the D1 stepping Xeons. I think the mobo you can get in the UK for the same price (depending on the exchange rate of course!)

If you are interested and can't find the xeon's I'll hook you up with a pair.
