One more DL380 Xeon800 3.4ghz is on the cards next week.

Come Tuesday i reckon i will have a good idea what my average output is going to be... but then theres always the merc servers i can *borrow* the cpu's on for speed boosts ;)

Should have a 2.0 Ghz Dual Xeon system up and running by this weekend, along with a few other odds and ends... Don't misunderestimate Bob. :D

Xeon's aren't great at crunching, but I have a computer that can put out about 3600 points a day. Even if yours can do better than that, we might be able to help out the team a little more through cooperation and a little scheduled task tweaking for different projects.

Check out this thread (http://www.free-dc.org/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=7737) and tell me what you think.

It is a good idea - however I obviously so not own these servers, I am just able to make use of their cpu's.

What I run on them must be verging on invisible, as FAD is, simply executing think.exe using the network path of a master, is all you need to do, which makes it excellent.

If the trade involves a similar application to FAD, then I may be interested, however being new to this, I am quite happy to just plod along as I am now...

In that case, FaD probably is best. I can think of another project that is almost invisible(sieving), but that one prefers Athlons, too.

Well, I just pulled my machines off FaD for a few days and stuck them on RC5.I'm gonna see if I can move up a few more places, and then go back to FaD.
