This car is a DEMON. My buddy (who is JUST NOW a Senior in High School) worked and put down $8,000 cash on one of these cars. He's also installed a custom exhaust, body mods, lights, and built his speaker box for his 1000w sub system out of clear plexiglass with color-changing light tubes to go inside it.

The car is ABSOLUTELY WICKED. I believe the car comes as an Automatic/Manual mix. Technically it's an automatic but you can also drive it like a stick too! Get the one with the V6 engine too, you can't skimp out. It puts the Pontiac Grand Prix to SHAME in looks and performance....

Please....I can't afford this car...you should treat yourself to it and make me more jealous so that I can wish harder that I hit the lottery and buy about 10 of them.

P.S. The dark blue is the only color you should buy it in, it's WICKED looking in the daytime and and night it looks like a pitch black viper from hell with hints of blue as the street lights fly behind it....

Wow, does it drive as nice as it looks? The Evo is my dream car, was hoping to test drive one on my 21st birthday, but it looks doubtful at the moment.

I had no idea you couldn't get the FQ330 in the US. The 2 litre engine must add that much extra weight that the Japanese won't ship them the extra distance. :)

It's quite a harsh ride, but then I like that, handling is just insanely good... and the acceleration was incredible..

I think it's probably the stricter emissions that prevent it being marketed in the US.

There were rumours of an FQ400 coming out in the UK too.

You don't see many Evo's around these parts unfortunately, but when you do it always turns heads (well, mine :)).

nah, not seen Top Gear since I left the UK. I've seen it posted on the newsgroups a few time though. Pity, I'd like to see it and Clarkson always was pretty good on it though. I guess you loved to hate him. Not surprised on the turbo lag. Don't know how they could get 400BHP out of that on a street car. I guess psi is way up..

Having driven and owned both, I can honestly say, you've not ridden in enough cars. They're quick little shits, I'll give it that, but once you hit third gear, it's about worthless. Even with the Shark Racing turbo on the 6cyl, there's just not enough to give it the oomph it need to feel good going into 4th.
