nope, different place, different (and much smaller) cluster. the other one was about 25 P3/700s, and was basically for the whole CS department. My excuse was that I wrote a DF-process cluster management shell script for a class project, and so of course I had to test it by actually running DF all semester :). the prof, who was also the CS dept chair, gave me an A for the project, so i figured that meant it was ok :)

that was as an undergrad at TTU. Now i'm a grad student at Purdue, and this new cluster belongs to our research group, which means that until my software (or the other student's) is ready to run, they are ripe and idle for the DC picking.... these are just 6 machines, dual P4 2.8Gs with EM64T (aka AMD64) and 4 gigs of ram. (and my office desktop, and my home destkop... etc) :)
