I'd like to have Think finish its job then stop. Linux. I tried killing the server process and I did a ./server -remove {queued job #} to make sure Think had no more wus. But what happened was that Think started up a new server process itself as soon as it finished the job it was working on. The new server process retrieved a new job and now Think has work again. How can I gracefully stop Think?

Uninstall it.

I tried stopping THINK in Windows via the control panel and then saving the changes....within 3 hrs THINK restarted itself and was crunching again (seriously slowing down my SOB crunching). I had to uninstall the app.

Seems it doesn't like being turned off.

I find running it as a service gives you total control over it, using scheduler (at cmd) you can control its timings / cpu time.
