If I could hit the lottery and come into about $500 really quickly then my Dual Xeon would be built...
I feel so bad that the processors are sitting here with no use.
Every time I get 3 steps ahead I fall 10 steps behind...
It'll be the summer AT LEAST before I can scrounge up the dollars to build this bad ass machine.

SOB eh, how does the application look on that project?
Can it be run remotely ala FAD?

I think SoB needs a constant internet connection. I don't think there's a server program for it. You may be able to connect to the internet, download a WU, crunch it offline, then upload the results, but I suggest a constant internet connection.
It can be run easily as a service so you can sneakernet nicely with it. :)
It's very good about giving back CPU cycles when they are needed by other programs. Best program for that yet.

hmm the constant internet connex will be an issue... maybe something i will look at once ive got enough fad points to keep me happy. thats a lot more than ive got now too

It works 'offline' - if it can't find the server, it just goes back to work ;)
