View Full Version : Driver updating?

I used to be a big fan of CNET'S Catchup.com service. The program (when still useable) would scan your computer for files that may need updating. They would submit the list of "files" and find newer, updated files that could replace those and make your system less likely to crash or newer programs would play better. It was a godsend.

Has there ever been a program released like it that would scan your computer, send the results back, and return a list (with an easy way to get the updates) back to you?

I updated all my VB runtimes, outdated .DLLs, and everything via this program and my computer was always ROCK SOLID. I really hope there is another program out there like this.

Nowadays I run around and get drivers/firmware myself. I have updated the firmware for my DVD+-RW 3 times now (GOD I LOVE LITE-ON PRODUCTS).

Please help!!!
