Traffic jam with DIMES servers?

Looks like its been rectified but alot of us lost alot of measurements from the downtime.

like I said ... uneducated I am. My only way of telling if DIMES is working is if my numbers go up (so unless that's what oyu mean by measurements, altohugh mine aren't going up, then i 'm lost)

From what we can tell by ohad's post here (http://free-dc.org/forum/showthread.php?s=&postid=83676#post83672), it seems like the stats server cannot keep up with the amount of measurements that we are throwing at it but we are still doing worth while work for them.

My guess is that they are just dumping all the measurements somewhere first until they can get back from vacation and sort this problem.

on your client click on the messages tab. if your getting a traceroute and it says measurements execute then your doing sumin.

Ahh, So here is where we find out they were on vacation. It would have been nice to see it on the news page. Glad things are being looked at. Any word from ohad when it might be close to being normal again?

According to ohad, the Dimes team is away on vacation till Thursday. I suppose they will resolve all issues after they return.

Licht...I would call Free-DC forums a "second home" for DIMES. I don't see the news page updated often over there but whenever a new client comes out I jump all over it and post it over here. Plus ohad posts a lot to some of us because we are actively working (as a team) to bust out the bugs from the clients and help out as much as we can!

BTW...Dimes v0.3.9.9 was released not too long ago....

Dimes v0.3.9.9b was released after that! GET YOUR NEW CLIENT!!! (I see no changes yet...still no graphing for me!)
