If we're going to make it so the PC can go to ANY project (though I would say if you keep giving AMDs away I'd say STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM SoB) then this thread should move the the Lobby or some other "main" area of the forum instead of the FaD portion.

an earlier post from lauren seemed to suggest that i was eligible for this round (after the first week; not sure about that though), but you should leave me out anyway; After I assemble my new hardware into a cruncher (which I think will also be a new daily driver for my wife; her current machine doesnt crunch for unrelated reasons), I will have enough spare hardware lying around for a 3rd machine but don't know if i'll have the space, or the power budget, for a 4th. (maybe i'll try the 2 mobo with 1 PS thing, but that's down the road:) )

so you can leave me out of any drawings unless I say otherwise :)

I don't mean to be a wet blanket but the rules states that you should have 5 PCs or less to be eligible for this drawing.

I don't know if this includes borged machines or not though. LAURENU2, care to clarify?

It won't matter at all for at least the next two drawings, but if the contest is around long enough and I get lucky and win two free computers, will that put me over my limit?

Recap: Father's and grandmother's computer(granny's computer in same house to share Internet) not controlled by any DC project because of rules, only one computer in house running DC. I'd like an official computer count.

Edit: I just reread the bread crumbs comment. Never mind.

Tomorrow's the day! Anyone have a complete list of who's in the drawing just to be sure all who want in have gotten in?

I still can't believe how generous you guys are. I may have a DVD-RW (not the best in the world) that I'll give a way, but I can't afford to foot the shipping. Plus, that really doesn't help with advancing any DC projects, does it?

Any ideas on if I should do it?

-Jeff There's a contradiction between the announcement on the main page and what's going on here. This thread requires FaD membership(I think, am I wrong?) and the other thread claims you just have to be a member of Free-DC. I'm reasonably(98%) sure I'm a member of Free-DC SOMEWHERE, even though at the moment I'm involved in a project that doesn't use teams or points(sierpenski base-5).

I don't want to make anyone angry, so can I get a ruling before the official announcement?

Edit: If I make it into the competition and people complain, I'll make sure I keep my promise of crunching to a million on Free-DC, but except in terms of team loyalty, it's not high on my list of things to do. Also, if I win the processor, it'll stay with Free-DC no matter what.
