I've got one that's being going for 32 and a half hours(160 rating, 'bout 5000 so far), and it's not even at 90%.

HOLY MACKERAL!!!(sp?)

My longest has been over 6 days so far. Cpu ratings 89, 90, 100 and 98, but what's nice is the points rack up also. I went up over 60 places with just 4 jobs, about a months worth of cpu time uploaded in just over a week. Pretty slow but everything helps and the long jobs seem to be more proficient some how, providing they don't fail but restarting them always seems to fix them.

Finally updates!

I was about ready to go back to D2OL as my numbers kept going down the last few days even though I added 18 boxes last Friday and 6 on Thursday.

Still not totally sold on FAD or turned off D2OL, but we'll see.

Don't give up I have had LRM's that went for 40 DAYS all the way up to 112 DAYS
or about 2700 Hrs:trash:
Thank god they do not make them that large any more

Ronbo...dude...D2OL is POINTLESS...

THINK claims they could crunch everythign D2OL has to do within a short amount of time using IN HOUSE PCs if they were to use their code instead of D2OL's...

That means there is room for BIG optimization and yet the D2OL guys barely talk to anyone....

I tried D2OL...it was OK....but FAD seems like such a better choice...

Well, that is the claim.

The PR is certainly better, hopefully the science is also.

I do have doubts about D2OL, but also have some about FAD.

No doubts about Fozzie becoming RK though :rotfl:

For offline nodes, these long qm3 jobs are awesome.

Set em up, and leave them to it for days and days - no need to be constantly checking they have not run out of work and ferrying new jobs to them.

I just hope once qm3's are done that a job equally as time consuming is released...

BTW, apologies for my lack of :dump: 's - biggy coming tomorrow or thursday morning when im back in Bristol :)

Fad can be frustating because the daily output is so variable.
You do get used to it.

You can work out an average for yourself quite easily.
This assumes you let FAD have all the CPU time.

add all the CPU ratings together and multiply by 24.

So if your total CPU rating is 10,000 then you should average 240,000 a day.

I am running about 11.5k, PY222 a bit more, 12.5k at a guess.

PS

Now and again the stats don't run but the points normally turn up on the next update.
Haven't lost any points yet, they just turn up late some times ;)

Does anyone know the record for most points on one job? I probably won't set it, but it would be an interesting statistic to know.

The most I have seen was from Zippy for 679,000 points for 1 job
