1.75GHz Sempron 256K cache SSE

If someone could point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.

Somebody said:

Everything else then the P4 should be sieving.

The sieving effort is far behind, and there is a lot of work. Read the threads in the Sieving area, please, and tell if you have problems. If possible, get the High range sieving dat-file. But you can just start with the normal one to give it a try, that's fine, too.

Sieving is the best for the project, in this moment. If you don't feel comfortable with the process, please Doublecheck with the normal client (read the postings in the thread: You can now doublecheck with normal accounts)you can now do double checks with normal accounts (http://www.free-dc.org/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=8282) )

Welcome aboard.

I'll be doing this with my Sempron 2800+ to see how it works out.
I'll leave my xeons on JRC ;)

If you want people sieving, you should give them the option of downloading the sieving client on the main page(This is not meant to offend, I'm simply frustrated).

I'll let it keep doing what it's doing until I figure things out.

The whole seiving thing is very confusing. I don't understand it at all, it's something I should be doing as most of my systems are AMD but it's all way over my head. I saw something about an interactive website for reserving ranges etc, it needs a centralized straightforward and simple way of doing it if you hope to get a decent amount of take up.

Please tell me where to find the reserving page for sieving the high n file.

Just reserve the normal way.

XXXYYY-XXXYYY jasong [reserved] (with 991<n<50M)

you can find the dat here..

http://www.teamprimerib.com/vjs

After your done your entire range you have to submit fact and factrange.txt to [email protected]

There are alot of post in the sieve section regarding this topic.
