Not to be a wet blanket, since I know I've been looking pretty bad lately, but because of the fact that (1) I have exactly one computer at my disposal, and (2) I'm involved in Sierpenski base-5, which doesn't have teams:

I was hoping the assertion that I'm a loyal Free-DC cruncher when the opportunity presents itself will be enough to get me in. Because of some problems I've been having with the Find-a-Drug control panel, getting DIMES to work, and the fact that I'm now crunching a project that doesn't use points or teams, maybe I could ask for a favorable ruling in terms of whether or not I'm included in the contest?

I really am loyal to Free-DC, and if you want to make any demands, especially with a possibly won processor, I'm ready to hear them.

I'm donating one of my current older systems. Only thing to add to it will be a PSU and a HD (I'm running it headless) and a case if you use them, I don't.

I'll throw in a video card too

Bok - does that thing require a P4 PSU, or does one of the older PSUs without the 4 pin connector work? If so, I just happen to have about a dozen of them sitting on the shelf, because I can't bring myself to just throw them away.

If one of the older PSU's work, I'll throw one in for the winner of second place...

Oh, and by the way, the case that goes with the first place prize doesn't just come in black, winner gets to pick:

A sad incident with PayPal kind of put the dampers on things for me for the next couple of months, but I figured I'd get in one last giveway to someone.

(And since I seem to be the only person around here that actually puts boxen in cases, I figured I'd try to pass along that neurosis to someone else by giving them a case, too...)

I have an Aspire case that I just bought that looks almost EXACTLY like that! It has a side case fan, front case fan, 2 back case fans, and a TOP CASE FAN!!!. It's gonna be a wind tunnel.

Dear GOD I hope I win this giveaway. If I do then I'll basically have TWIN cases running. I would put them side by side and take pictures. :)
