I exported one of my servers to upload and then proceeded to overwrite the export with the next weeks import.
So the file has been overwritten and the jobs have been removed from the queue.
Is there anyway of getting those jobs?
It's 16 completed QM3 jobs so I would do a fair bit of work to try and salvage at least some of them.

(if nothing has been written to disk, maybe an undelete of some sort. But under pressure, crunching full time it may be the jobs are toast)
C'mon chaps - constructive suggestions are preferred....
Foz, I have tried this with a small job that did not matter, however, it was on an online queue which does not provide a like for like test. If i remove the "exported" jobs from the queue then the *.log is also deleted from the FAD source along with the *.smi file. The remove command seems to do a lot more in the background than i realised.
Unless results are stored anywhere else I think you may struggle to rescue these...

Haven't you tried anything like ontrack, I had to use it once when I formatted the wrong hard drive. I did manage to get a lot of files back after using it.

I overwrote the file with one of the same name so I really :swear: up
I'm over it now, and will be far more careful after that one.

My (BennyRop) comment about Norton's Protected recycle bin - on the FaD forum seems to be pointless for this salvage job; since it's only helpful when installed prior to the accident.
