Remember DF/ECC2/TSC lads.

I remember DF very well.

I remember uploading millions of points to hold you off, by staying up until 3AM local time.

I remember to blood of thousands of dead cows on the grass, as our SWAT teams came in to get stuff ready for the barbecue.

I remember how the sunset on the last day was blood red.

I remember how we never lost.

And I will stay up till 3AM once again if I need to.

No Frickin Cow is going to stop Free-DC.

History confirms this.

While I like to hide in RC5 & DPAD & UD & other projecs of that sort, I did install FAD just to hold you off.

"None Shall Pass!"

Do I need to make up the diagrams again, or will you actually understand this time. Bear powered plasma cannons BBQ cow meat fast.

Hmm arent new cows called calves and if memory serves me right calves dont produce anything :Pokes:

As i see it being an innocent by stander you got to many calves and not enough cow's.:moon:

rsbriggs
05-31-2005, 02:15 AM
I think calves are best at producing veal cutlets....

Not a cut that you'd normally barbeque, but good nevertheless.
I'm thinking a wine and garlic tomato sauce and lots of parmesan cheese here, and served with a nice glass of suitable wine - maybe a blush or rosé.

Yumm! Veal Parmesan...

So far DPC is outputing 4,264.5 points per active member
F-DC is outputing 43,116.8 points per active member
Even TSC has a better points per member rate they are doing 10,150.4 Per member

I am not sure these cows are fat enough to even THINK of BBQ-ing And I am not even sure they have any milk

just remember u want from a 3816 Million (FDC) to a 748 million (DPC) ratio (on 16-12-2003 the start when we could choose between SoB or DF) to a 21436 Million (FDC) to a 19930 millio (DPC) ratio on the last day 5-10-2004. (With note that Your team had some teamhoppers that joined u on the last day)

thats 510% to 107% in just 10 months

Just give us some credits ^^ :bonk:

And compare 10-4-2005 to this day on FaD

FreeDC- DPC - %
266 mil - 100 mil - 266%
360 mil - 162 mil - 216%

Were growing towards u, after a month we'll look were we stand. and after 6 months well look how great the after touch was ok? ;)

http://stats.find-a-drug.com/png1.php?TeamID=2020,2047,2094&Lines=30&Type=Points
This will always show the last 30days Points for TSC!, FDC and DPC (2094, 2020, 2047)
.. days are actually the last 24hrs and not real days afiak ..

and last 7 days
http://stats.find-a-drug.com/png1.php?TeamID=2020,2047,2094&Lines=7&Type=Points

http://stats.find-a-drug.com/png1.php?lines=56&Type=GFlops

Don't much appreciate the language, and don't think it was called for. Someone needs to edit the post and/or ban the user. If you want to use profanity, use it on your own forum, not ours.

What? It's OK for DPC to recruit by the hundreds, but let one person join Free-DC and you start swearing about it????

I apologize for young PeSr. It's his endless enthousiasm that put things a bit out of perspective. I'm sure he didn't mean it the way it looks.

We all want this to be a fair battle without calling each other names and we have done great so far. So keep up the spirits and the numbers. FaD is the major winner over here and let's just enjoy the race.

And by the way, keep bringing in those new members with huge scores. In the end it won't be enough anyway ;)

Personally, I think he meant it exactly the way he said it. If it were up to me, he'd be at least suspended from posting here for some period of time. (But, it isn't up to me.)

Perhaps he meant it, but do you gain anything by suspending him (just irritated by teamhoppers which is a bit unusally to us). I don't think so.
You should know if somebody joins DPC, they're not teamhoppers (we don't like that) and they stay with DPC.
But I do have to say also that if somebody joins FDC they stay there usually.
The question is however : Why join FDC later instead of when you start runnin' the project?
Anyway, there's one winner and that's FAD :D

It was the original "F" word usage and it's direction that I was objecting to and which was inappropriate to the forum.

Might better take a look at your own (DPC) membership history before coming here and throwing around swear words at people - which, by the way, is not acceptable here under ANY circumstances so far as I know. We like to think this is a generally family-friendly site.

In any event - the post was edited and the objectionable material withdrawn. So far as I am concerned, the matter is over and done with.

But I wonder if some people aren't taking things a little too seriously - this is supposed to be a friendly competition. :|punch|: ooops, I meant

TBH not at all.

I was expecting you guys to be doing far more than what you are.

I was thinking more like the output that we saw from you in DF. Now I know that MrMr was putting out nearly 1/3rd of that and she/he/it can't run FaD due to OS restriction.

However I really thought you guys would do better.

We haven't even pulled some of our big hitterrs off other projects as we see no reason to.

AS I said before DPC is a spent force, your best times are behind you and you are on the steady slope down to DC mediocrity.

Your time has come and now you should move aside as Free DC soars to the zenith of DC domination.

 OK so got a bit caried away there but you get the jist.

Err... you just more or less proved Fozzies point there.

But as a DPC bull with an office farm with old cows grazing I have to agree tho, I had expected a little more too but then again, output is rising and is 5 times as much as it was 3 months ago so the stampede announcement did its thing... get more puters crunching for the good cause :)

Theadalus glaces over the great deserted planes containing the ruines of a kingdom once called "Free-DC"...

At a far distance he notice an old limping bear. When the bear approaches him, he can see the scars the
battle left on the bear, who is suprisingly younger then he first thought. The bear sits down on a big rock,
and after a while he starts to tell his story: "It all started in the year 2005..."

One of the FaD teams I'm part of.. is 1/700th the population of DPC; yet had 1/100th the production of DPC the last time I checked..

Does FDC have a similar or better ratio of population versus production compared to DPC? Either course to big contributions to FaD is very welcome.. :)

:fozzie: rules :cow: drools.

:moon: :moon:
I agree, the output hasn't risen that much like in DF but the stampede has only just begon. After all we are a team of volunteers so we don't ask the few big users we have to switch, if they want to they will do so. It's true that MrMr can't participate as he ran a SGI machine which uses SGI Irix as OS, allthough we don't know if he would get the machine to be allowed to run Fad if it would be possible.

Also another big user SF has sort of quit after the ending of DF he also had a big farm at his disposal, allthough he has started crunching FaD right now it's not with the power we once saw.

Anyway, we'll see who will come out on top :) at least it is a boost for the project

Bok
06-11-2005, 08:34 PM
Estimates like that are very difficult to calculate to be honest....

Considering we outproduce XPC by around 1M per day, so in 200 days we'll be (theoretically) say 120M behind them and you'll be on terms with us, do you think it would take you another 700 days to catch them.....

My stats say differently

http://stats.free-dc.org/new/teamrank.php?proj=fad&team=Dutch+Power+Cows

Again, probably not accurate as it's all highly skewed by team movement and such and only based on last 7 days average, so this is in no way a reflection on TA's excellent stats :)

Woo's might be the most accurate I believe... at http://www.fadstats.com

Keep up the good work anyway, we'll see closer to the time...I was just in fact revelling in the final DF stats which I put back up today :p

Seems reminiscent of pulling the legs off of Daddy Long Legs when I was young. Pointless and cruel. We should all contribute to FaD as we can and not let others make us feel bad because we have maximized what we can do with what we have.

Seems to me we should all revel in the success of everyone to eradicate these awful maladies.

Just an opinion

"Pulling their leg" does not mean "pulling their leg off". It basically means "joking with them, taunting them, etc.".

Note to self: Self, idioms don't always carry across very well, especially in text-only mode. Have to remember that.
