I recently went over 5000 MFLOPs (Sandra2005) with my s754 2800+ @300*8 MHz HTT and 225MHz RAM (BH5 ofcourse, 2-2-2-10 timings).

I then calculated that the investment: CPU, Gigabyte K8NS MB, 256MB RAM and 300W PSU cumulated to 760zl which is about 180 Euro. This brings a ratio of 28 MFLOPs per Euro invested. Not bad considering 40 Euro (22%) of that amount was VAT :swear:

Can anyone beat that? :)

/ Friendly discussion only, no CPU wars here please, everyone knows AMD's K8 architecture wins hands down...
