hey guys im new to the forum here so i have no idea if you have an IRC Channel or not for the Distributed Computing stuff but if you do please let me know.. i just transfered over from Ars Tech and im trying to get aquainted in the community

We do have an IRC channel - but I'll let someone more competent in that area tell you more since I never seem to connect when anyone else is active.

Oh, and welcome to the barbeque we're hosting with DPC! Although that seems to be the main topic currently, everyone here pretty much has their own specialities.
