Well, I've been unemployed since around April 22nd. The government agency that's attempting to help me is going to take me around for interviews on Wed. the 29th, assuming I don't find out I have jury duty that day.

I never realized how deprived I was until I got that job. I didn't make enough money to live on my own(only about $15 a day after taxes), but man, that extra money really meant a difference.

Actually, it was only about $150-$200 extra a month, because the version of welfare I'm on gets affected by your paycheck. For every $2 you make over $65 in a month, they take away a dollar for that month. You really have to be careful, because it takes them about 4 months to get set up properly. You think you have a bunch of money socked away and buy something expensive, then the next month they decide to play catch-up and you get about $50, or in some instances they tell you they paid you too much. Hasn't happened to me, but... You have have to be careful.

I've decided to force myself to attend my mental health club on week-days so that my bio-rhythms are straightened out by the time the 29th comes around. I ended up taking a hardcore nap from 1130AM to about 4:15PM today, so I'm thinking I need to quit getting out of bed at 5AM after falling asleep at 1130PM the night before. A no-brainer for most, but my anxiety disorder makes it difficult to lay still.

I'm really hoping to get 25-30 hour weeks, even at minimum wage. I've got some unusual opinions about the nature of the tax laws and whether or not the IRS is operating in a legal fashion, but when I posted them at XPC they flamed me big time, so I'm a little leery about stating another opinion. In a sense, it's similar to going to church and telling them their tithing rule isn't biblical, but is instead a creation that has no basis in Christianity. People get so used to being abused by someone that they'll actually get in the habit of defending the abuse.

1. Get your sleep patterns on a set schedule
2. Eat 3 meals a day to minimize glucose highs/lows.
3. Don't sweat the taxes..just keep centered.
4. Maintain a "calm" center and don't let the highs/lows overwhelm you.
6. When in doubt, concentrate on #1 and then #2.

Good advice, Chinasaur. I usually get up late, and go without eating for 12-16 hours at a time, which really annoys my mother since peanuts are my favorite snack. Right now, I've gone without eating for about 14-15 hours and I've already had part of a Splenda Diet Coke. Not good.

I think I'll go try that new Muffin Tops cereal my mother bought.

Three GOOD meals a day..NOT sugar. And don't go 14 hours without eating.
