I just downloaded 12 cancer units from FAD.
what project you doing?
also I heard that to make sure that you dont have Beat test checked, that will cause no units to be downloaded......

Are you running the Linux beta? If so there was a blank line in temp.jgo that was causing a problem:

What is your connection plan set to?
You might need to rename your isetup.dat file to old and run fadsetup again.

Windows firewall in SP2 IS allowing the fad program access to the internet I hope. Disable the firewall and see what happens.

Actually I stopped SOB due to something you said. I liked your idea of being able to find the cure for cancer. I run only 4 projects now. Predictor@home (#390 in the world), Find-A-Drug, Folding@home classic, and netdimes. And only netdimes because of ars team jello. So pass away my friend. I will stick with biological experiments and Darkthrone. And if BOINC would let me transfer ALL of my credits to Free-DC I would. But I have put too much time into BOINC Synergy. I will keep my BOINC stuff there and non-BOINC Here.
