This thread is for people who are, or are considering, upgrading. Video cards, hard drives, cpus and motherboards, anything involving a "normal" computer(unstated definition of "normal" right now, I don't want to be a control freak)
Anyway, here's a truncated view of my cpu-z specs, the reason for upgrade(or building a new computer, if it's suggested) is crunching in general. Comments about possible effect on specific projects is welcome and encouraged in the case of my problem.
