Log in at the Rosetta site and view your computers.
You willl be able to find out why your RAC is going down.

Usually it's a PC returning bad results all the time.
Also you may find some of your PC 's not listed.

    Go do some detective work

PCZ, I checked like you said, and on both of my windoz boxes, it shows alot of "client error'.How do I go about fixing that? I'm running the optomized clients from URL=http://www.marisan.nl/seti/]Here[/URL] on both of those boxes.Should I upgrade to a later client?

When you dropped in the optimized client, what was the original boinc install ? I.e. was it a 5.x.x version or a 4.x.x.

If it was 4.x.x install the 5.x.x first then copy over the optimized client over the top.

If not, try detaching from the project then reattaching. It sounds to me like one of the files was corrupted on download.

Bok, I just downloaded, and installed, the 4.72 SSE on both machines.Should I go ahead, and download, and install, the 5.3.1.What is that spoofed 5.3.1?Is that the one I should get?

Detach and re-attach as the first option.

I had already tried that, and it didn't work.I just installed the 4.72 client, and so far, they seem to be running alright.

I just checked the stats for both the windoz machines again.I'm still getting a lot of client errors.I guess I need to try the 5xxx client.strange, the linux box has no client errors whatsoever.

Download and install this version here

It will upgrade any version you currently have.

Don't start it though, then copy in the otpimized 5.3.1 trux or whichever one you are currently using on top of it.

How is the RAC calculated? Is it day by day, or over a set amount of days?
