    All I can see is, that a program tried to access a memory area where it doesn't have access to (pointer or memory bad allocated...)

    stderr from i.e. there http://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/re...sultid=2772034:
    Code:
    <core_client_version>4.72</core_client_version>
    <message> - exit code -1073741819 (0xc0000005)
    </message>
    <stderr_txt>
    # =====================================
    # random seed: 1215961
    # =====================================

    ***UNHANDLED EXCEPTION****
    Reason: Access Violation (0xc0000005) at address 0x00537D30 read attempt to address 0x0E71001C

    1: 12/02/05 17:50:21

    1: StackWalk(): GetLastError = 487

    </stderr_txt>
    But I don't think that information will help you getting credit or resolving the problem...

    Could try moving up to version 5.n.n of boinc on the problem pc(s); not sure if it would help but might.

    The reason I said that was the error message said, "<core_client_version>4.72</core_client_version>" and I assumed that was the boinc versio n but upon looking closer it looks more like a Rosetta version, although your Rosetta result page also says "application version 4.80" so I dont know.

    I think you might want to (re)post this error on the Rosetta forum if you haven't already so their developer(s) can see it. In this thread a guy named Paul Buck was interested in a different error, but nonetheless appeared to be willing to forward it somewhere.

    Well, I have no idea where to find my log file for boinc, so if someone wants to point me in the right direction, I will be glad to send it to the Guy!!This is getting really discouraging, doing all that work for nothing!!

    Take a look in your Boinc folder (assuming you are running windows), there should be two files: stdoutdae.txt which seem to have all the output from the boing manager in it.

    Then there is also a file called stderrdae.txt which seems to only hold the errors boinc encountered...

    @Thor - here's a relevant thread; also searching the Rosetta forums for "exit 164" turns up quite a few. Do you have your General Preferences for boinc set to leave applications in memory? http://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/fo...ead.php?id=394

    I'd leave mine in memory, as i've noticed that alot of the newer projects don't like being swapped out. IE: uFluids, and Rosetta.

    Had it set to "No" changed it now, we will see if it helps...

    Thanks for pointing me in the (hopefully) right direction!
