    Please help Free-DC at eOn

For the last two months I've been running eOn and I noticed that the current members output managed to make more than UT Austin one. We really need a little push because we can really sustain first place.

What type of setup is best for Eon? Other than the obvious fact you need an always on connection.

I don't know, I have different CPU's running (Athlon, AMD 64, P4 dual core, duo core machines) but seems that the core duo machines are really fast. All running on windows. Example, the T5500, duo core machine at 1.66GHz, one instance, beats my AMD 64 3000+ (2GHz) by miles.

I'm making 273-300 wu's per half an hour with one AMD 2200+, one AMD 64 3000+ and one T5500. Soon the latter will be off and you can see how much the others do. I think the P4 2.8Ghz dual core makes less than 70-80 wu's per half hour.

Last benchmark: the T5500 makes more than 120 wu's per half an hour with the current set of wu size.

Runs fine on Linux, as well.
